1. The Final Walk-Through Confirms the Home Is Ready
The final walk-through is your last chance to inspect the property before closing. Typically scheduled 24–48 hours before you sign the final paperwork, this visit ensures the home is still in the agreed-upon condition. It’s your opportunity to confirm:
- The property is clean and empty
- Appliances and systems are working
- Nothing has been damaged or removed unexpectedly
2. It’s Time to Double-Check Repairs and Agreements
If you negotiated repairs after your home inspection, now’s the time to make sure those items were completed properly. Bring your inspection report and agreement with you and confirm that all repairs were handled as promised. If something’s missing, you can raise the issue before closing—not after.
3. Look for Any New Issues Since Your Last Visit
